Method

  1. Beat together:
  2. softened butter
  3. granulated sugar
  4. Mix 2–3 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add:
  1. egg
  2. vanilla
  3. almond extract
  4. Mix until creamy.
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
    Whisk together:
    1. flour
    2. baking powder
    3. baking soda
    4. salt
    5. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix on low until a soft dough forms.
    Step 3: Color & Add Mix-Ins
      Add:
      1. green gel food coloring (adjust until Grinch-colored)
      2. Mix until evenly colored.
      3. Fold in:
      4. white chocolate chips
      Step 4: Scoop & Bake
      1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
      2. Line baking sheet with parchment.
      3. Scoop 1.5 tbsp dough balls and place 2 inches apart.
      Bake 9–11 minutes, until:
      1. edges are set
      2. tops slightly puffy
      3. centers still soft
      Remove from oven and immediately:
      1. Press 1 red heart sprinkle into each cookie.
      2. Cool on a rack.
