Step 1: Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a bowl, whisk together:
- flour
- baking soda
- salt
- Set aside.
Step 2: Cream Butter, Sugars & Peanut Butter
- Beat softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter for 2–3 minutes until fluffy and smooth.
- Add the egg, vanilla, and milk.
- Mix well.
Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients
- Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture.
- Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Chill dough 20–30 minutes for thicker cookies (optional but recommended).
Step 4: Roll & Bake
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line baking sheet with parchment.
- Scoop dough into 1-inch balls.
- Roll each ball in granulated sugar.
- Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
- Bake 8–10 minutes, until edges are just set but centers still soft.
Step 5: Add the Chocolate Kiss
- Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each warm cookie.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes so the chocolate and cookie both set.
