  2. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Step 2: Sear the Sausage

  2. Add sliced sausage and sear until browned on both sides.
  3. Remove sausage and set aside.
Step 3: Sauté the Veggies
  1. In the same skillet, add onion and bell pepper.
  2. Cook 3–4 minutes until softened.
  3. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
